Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla: Popular movies of the iconic '90s pair

Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) and Juhi Chawla were first seen together in the year 1992 on-screen. Since then, SRK has done a total of eight projects with Juhi. It is the highest number of films Shah Rukh has done with any actor. Here are some of their most iconic movies as an on-screen pair.

Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman

It was the first movie they did together. The movie was directed by Aziz Mirza. In this movie, we see SRK moving from a small village to the then city of Bombay in search of a job. He befriends ‘Renu,’ played by Juhi Chawla, to get a job. She works as a receptionist for a big builder in the city. Later, disaster strikes one of the projects King Khan's character was on and many people die. In the movie, SRK shares electric chemistry with Juhi. In addition to Juhi and SRK, stars like Nana Patekar and Amrita Singh were also seen in the movie.

Ram Jaane

This was the second movie in which they were paired together on-screen. In this movie, Shah Rukh plays the role of a criminal who comes out of jail after serving time for several years. He is in jail for being a part of a shootout. Later, when he comes out of jail, he decides to help his friend and partner in crime. Both decide to raise the local kids in the area to save them from the corrupt world. While doing so, he falls in love with his childhood girlfriend who is played by Juhi Chawla. While helping the kids, he goes back to being a criminal. The movie was directed by Rajiv Mehra.

Yes Boss 

In this movie Rahul Joshi, played by SRK, works for Sidharth, played by Aditya Pancholi. SRK's character aspires to become a big businessman. Rahul meets Seema, played by Juhi Chawla. Juhi's character is an up-and-coming model who wants to get rich quick. To get rich, she woos Sidharth, who is a rich, married brat. Sidharth also likes Juhi Chawla’s character and convinces her to marry him. At the same time, Rahul, played by Shah Rukh Khan, also admires Juhi Chawla's character. Shah Rukh is an employee in Sidharth’s company and has to keep quiet about his feelings so that he can keep his job and fulfill his dream. But later, Seema realizes that she is in love with Rahul. The duo live happily ever after at the end of the movie.
