Actor Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in Kabir Singh, has time and again proved his mettle as an actor with his impressive performances in movies like Jab We Met and Haider. At a recent award function, the actor was not only lauded for his stellar fashion game but also was appreciated for his preparation for the role in the upcoming sports entertainer, Jersey. During the media interaction, Shahid Kapoor revealed that he is aware that comparisons between Jersey and ’83 are inevitable, as both the films have a similar cricket backdrop. The actor added that Jersey will put forth an emotional story of a disgraced cricketer, as it is a personal film based on a special journey. Kapoor expressed his willingness to watch ’83 and wished the team ‘all the best’.
