Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra started his career at a young age as a model. The Marjaavaan walked the extra mile to be the most sought after actor in Bollywood. He marked his acting debut with Student of the Year in 2012 alongside debutantes Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. This coming-of-the-age romantic flick garnered mostly positive reviews and emerged out to be commercially successful.
The Hasee Toh Phasee actor is a fitness freak. He has given his blood, sweat, and tears for maintaining a chiselled physique that everyone dies for. Highly active on social media, Sidharth regularly shares his inspiring workout videos with his Instagram fans. Here is how the Ek Villain actor keeps himself fit as a fiddle.
1. Sports enthusiast
This hardcore fitness enthusiast is assisted by Satish Narkar. The actor boasts of his six-pack abs. Malhotra does not just resort to gyming to keep fit, he also loves swimming, jogging, and playing football, according to a report by a leading daily.
2. Warm-up is a must
Reportedly, Sidharth starts with a warm-up. He opts for basic exercises for about ten minutes after which he begins with cardio. With a primary focus on gaining a muscular body, the actor follows a light workout and make him easily able to meet dancing requirements for movies.
3. Work on core and lower back
According to him, the three most crucial exercises include push-ups, running, and pull-ups. In an interview, he advised that one must add them in their workout routine. Furthermore, he added that for achieving fitness one must sincerely work on their lower back.
4. Avoid sugar
According to a report by a leading daily, Malhotra’s diet primarily consists of home-cooked food. He has a sweet tooth but tries to avoid sugar by opting for naturally sweetened goods. He cannot resist dark chocolate. Moreover, he usually involves jaggery and honey over sugar in his diet. Apart from including fruits, he also indulges in high fibre meals. This Punjabi lad is a great fan of chicken, fish, and various other protein enriched food items. He advises fans and budding fitness enthusiasts not to consume carbohydrate-loaded meals for dinner.
