Sonam Kapoor reveals father Anil Kapoor is proud of her individuality

Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor who debut in the industry years back with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya has definitely established herself as one of the promising actresses'. While her films are often praised for its content, not all of them emerge as box office successes.
Recently, Sonam Kapoor who is the daughter of evergreen star Anil Kapoor talked about the same and revealed what her father has to stay about her career. She said that for Anil Kapoor her career is secondary. He is very much proud of who she has become as his daughter and an individual. Sonam Kapoor, who started her career at a very young age, said that father Anil Kapoor is happy as she emerged as a strong person living under the constant scrutiny of people and the media. She said Anil Kapoor is also very impressed by her choice of films.
During the interview, Sonam Kapoor also opened up about several challenges she faced as an actress. She said initially she used to be disheartened when she had to face criticism for no reason. She recalled there were times when people criticized her for her love fashion and dressing up, which she thinks is ridiculous.
Sonam Kapoor who has worked on a variety of films including Aisha, Khoobsurat, Dolly Ki Dolly, Delhi-6, Raanjhanaa, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Pad Man, Sanju, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, and Veere Di Weeding, revealed that she is interested to explore action and horror films next.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Sonam Kapoor's latest outing 'The Zoya Factor' has recently hit the theaters. The film is based on Anuja Chauhan's 2008 novel of the same name and also stars Dulquer Salmaan and Sanjay Kapoor in a pivotal role. The film revolves around a Rajput girl named Zoya Singh Solanki, played by Sonam Kapoor, an executive in an advertising agency, who meets the Indian Cricket Team as part of a project. Following an interesting turn of events, she ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team during the 2011 Cricket World Cup. The Zoya Factor is helmed by Abhishek Sharma and has hit the theaters on September 20.
