Sunny Deol sings Gadar 2 songs, arm-wrestles with army men ahead of film's release

Sunny Deol and patriotism have almost been synonymous with each other, thanks to the numerous iconic films that Sunny Deol did throughout the prime of his career like Gadar, Border, Indian. And now, as the promotions for Sunny Deol’s upcoming film Gadar 2 are at peak, the usually reserved Deol decided to open up a little. During one of the promotional activities for the film, Deol interacted in a more personal manner with a few officials from the Indian army stationed at Tanot Border.

Sunny Deol flexes ‘Dhai Kilo Ka Haath’ in a panja contest

In the stories posted by Zee Motion Pictures on their official instagram page, Sunny Deol can be seen enjoying himself to the fullest. As seen in the videos, Deol is clearly having a gala time with the a few soldiers who are on duty at the Tanot Border. One of them stories even has Sunny Deol enthusiastically singing along as one of the army men sings the song ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’ from the 2001-film Gadar which was a raging hit back then.

In another video, Deol can be seen sportingly partaking in a Panjaa (arm-wrestling) contest with an army man. Deol is clearly flexing his ‘Dhai Kilo Ka Haath’ while having his quintessential child-like smile on even as he tries to best the army official. Meanwhile, many army officials can be seen in the background, cheering for the duo.

Gadar 2 gets a roaring start in advance bookings

Gadar 2 is gearing up towards a roaring opening at the box-office when it releases next Friday. The advance bookings were made open on August 1, and took off on a great note. Over 10000 tickets being sold in the first hour of ticket windows opening. These trends suggest that Gadar 2 is confidently on its way to emerge as one of the biggest hits of the year.
