Between his 61st and 62nd birthday, there has been one major change in the life of Sunny Deol. From actor-producer-director, Deol has also become a politician as well, successfully being elected to the Lok Sabha from Punjab’s Gurdaspur constituency. As the veteran actor celebrated his first birthday as a politician, there were wishes galore from all quarters, but this time not just from his family and B-Town stars, but those from the political fraternity as well. Bobby Deol, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sukhbir Singh Badal and many other celebrities conveyed their wishes on the occasion.

The best wish was undoubtedly from Sunny Deol’s brother Bobby Deol. The actor shared an adorable black-and-white snap of Sunny Deol from his childhood, from a birthday celebration, as he had balloons on his head.

If that was from many years ago, Madhuri Dixit Nene shared a very recent photo with Sunny, and wrote, “Happy birthday @iamsunnydeol. May all things good surround you, this year & always!”

Apart from his political debut, another highlight between his last two birthdays was that he launched his son Karan Deol in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Sahher Bambba, the lead of the movie, also shared a snap with him and thanked him for the learning she received from him.
