She started with reminiscing the perils she went through to participate in the 'Miss Universe Competition'. Apparently, her passport went missing days before the competition but her resilience and muster worked in her favour. Sushmita Sen won the contest and was crowned the 'Miss Universe' in 1994.

In the interview, Sushmita revealed that she always dreamt of becoming a mother. So when the situation chanced upon, she went ahead and adopted a baby girl. The actor at the age of 24, adopted her first child, Renee Sen. According to Sushmita, adopting a child has been a life-changing decision, and she loves every bit of being a mother. Reportedly, in 2010, Sushmita Sen adopted her second daughter and named her Alisah Sen. The actor is often seen posting pictures of both Reene Sen and Alisah Sen on her social media. Recently, Renee Sen turned 21, and Sushmita penned an emotional note on her Instagram.
