Tabu: Five movies that you must watch of the Bollywood birthday girl

The celebrated actor Tabu is celebrating her birthday on November 4. She has been in a part of the Indian film industry from 1985, with the movie Hum Naujawan. She has delivered many successful movies as well as some that did not do well with the audience. 

Here are some movies that you can watch of Tabu:

Virasat

The movie Virasat was released in the movie 1997. The movie starred Tabu alongside Anil Kapoor and Pooja Batra. It was directed by Priyadarshan. The movie traces the story of Shakti Thakur who returns to India from London and realises that there are huge responsibilities of his family and the village people waiting for him.

Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United

The movie Hum Saath-Saath Hai is a family movie that was released in the year 1999. The movie was a multi-starrer extravaganza with Mohnish Bahl, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and Sonali Bendre. It was directed by Sooraj Barjatya. The movie is a beautiful story of the importance of family and parental love.

Chandni Bar

Tabu starred in the movie Chandni Bar in the year 2011. The movie talks about a girl called Mumtaz who is forced to become a bar dancer. It also stars Rajpal Yadav and Atul Kulkarni. It is a Madhur Bhandarkar film.

Haider

An Indian adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, Haider was released in the year 2014. It stars Tabu, Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon, and Narendra Jha. It was directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. Tabu played the role of Ghazala Meer, which was based on the character of Gertrude.

Drishyam

Drishyam is a movie released in the year 2015. Nishikant Kamat directed this crime mystery. The movie starred Tabu as a police inspector who investigates a murder. The movie also stars Ajay Devgn, Shriya Sarana and Rajat Kapoor.

Tabu will be seen next in Jawaani Jaaneman. She is also a part of a Tamil movie Ala Vaikunthapuramlo. Reports also claim that she will be in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
