Bollywood actress Tabu, who is known for her spectacular on-screen presence, recently spoke about handling fame. The National Award-winning actress who believes fame is a part of life and one can't just detach from it because fame becomes a part of one's personality.

During a recent interview, the actress reportedly said that it is a way of life and one must not try to deliberately detach it because it will always be part of them. However, reportedly, she also talked about how it is easy to get trapped into external gratification and said that 'it was always important to focus on work rather than on how famous one is'.

Tabu who last appeared in 'De De Pyar De' alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet, has previously worked in a number of Bollywood ventures including 'Maachis', 'Astitva', 'Haider', 'Drishyam', 'Cheeni Kum', 'Golmaal Again', 'De De Pyaar De', 'Bharat' and 'Andhadhun'. She will be next starring in the coming-of-age comedy film 'Jawaani Jaaneman' along with Saif Ali Khan and Alaia F. The shooting of the film has commenced in England last month. 

Meanwhile, Tabu has boarded Mira Nair's adaptation of Vikram Seth's 'A Suitable Boy', a sweeping tale of four families set in the post-Partition era. The actress who worked with Nair on their critically-acclaimed film 'The Namesake', also an adaptation of Jhumpa Lahiri's novel, will play courtesan Saaeda Bai in the six-part series by BBC.

As per media reports, Tabu is also preparing for a comeback in Telugu films after a decade, with Allu Arjun's yet-untitled upcoming project.
