Tanaji Malusare biopic will star Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol

Tanaji Malusare is known for his bravery and his capture of the Sinhagad fort. He was a lieutenant alongside Shivaji Maharaj and also fought various battles with him. The great warrior lost his life in the midst of this battle but ensured victory for the Marathas. Despite the victory, Shivaji was upset about the loss of one of his most able commanders. After this incident, he renamed the Kondana fort as the Sinhagad Fort in honour of Tanaji.

Upcoming Movie about Taanaji Malusare

The upcoming movie Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior is a real-life story based on the life of Tanaji Malusare. The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. Ajay Devgn will be seen portraying the role of Tanaji, Kajol as Lakshmi Bai and Saif Ali Khan in the role of Udaybhan Rathod. The movie is directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan Kumar. The movie is set to release at the beginning of the year 2020 after pushing back the date due to shooting problems. Earlier, the director of the film Om Raut, shared a poster of the movie on his Instagram handle.

The chemistry of the on-screen couple

The romantic couple will be once again seen on the screen after Gundajraj, Ishq Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha. They are now coming together Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior. This news has created a buzz in the audience already. Ajay spoke about his relationship with Kajol where he mentioned that they have a bond where they can tell each other whatever they want.
