'Tanhaji' poster with Saif Ali Khan reminds netizens of Jon Snow

Saif Ali Khan's look from Tanhaji has been lauded by netizens; some have compared his look to that of HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones' character Jon Snow.

Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior, directed by Om Raut, is creating a buzz with its being actor Ajay Devgn's 100th film as well as with the new posters that have been unveiled by the makers in the past few days. The antagonist of the historical drama is the Nawab of Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan who will be seen portraying the character of Udaybhan Rathore. Ajay Devgn took to social media earlier today to unveil the newest poster featuring Saif Ali Khan. He wrote, "Udaybhan Ke Darbar Mein Ghalati Ki Maafi Nahi Sirf Sazah Milti Hai".

Nailed the villain look

Saif Ali Khan looked sinister and intimidating in the new poster posing as the villain of Tanhaji. Netizens have lauded the striking poster for Saif Ali Khan's menacing look thus creating anticipation for the release of the film. However, a few of the fans have compared the poster to that of the HBO epic fantasy series Game of Thrones where actor Kit Harrington, who played the role of Jon Snow, can be seen in a similar pose with a sword in his hand. Saif Ali Khan's pose in the Tanhaji poster reminded the netizens of Jon Snow's poster from GOT and they shared their reactions on social media.

Saif Ali Khan had reportedly prepared for the sword fighting duel sequences which will be the highlight of the battle scenes of the movie. Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior is based on the battle of Sinhagad in which Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare had fought valiantly. The war was fought between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Uday Bhan Rathod.  Tanhaji is set to hit the Indian theaters on January 10 next year.
