Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for the release of her new movie The Sky Is Pink. Helmed by Shonali Bose, the lead actors of the upcoming entertainer - Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Rohit Saraf have been busy promoting the dramatic film since the past 15 days. Releasing on October 11, the movie has managed to grab the attention of the audience for its unique cast and storyline. However, Priyanka jetted off to the US recently to promote the film. Priyanka Chopra promotes her comeback Bollywood film
Priyanka flew back to the US after an extensive promotion regime for her film in India. The actor appeared on various television shows and promotional events in the USA, donning various outfits from renowned designers. Once, she was clicked wearing a grey turtle neck top with a pinstriped grey pantsuit. Priyanka was also recently seen on The Jimmy Fallon show and also became the first Indian actor to feature on Twitter's #BehindTheTweets series.
The Aitraaz actor is at the top of her game as she has many releases lined up for the coming year. She will be seen along with Pedro Pascal of Narcos fame in the upcoming superhero flick, We Can Be Heroes. Chopra will also star in a Netflix original, The White Tiger along with Rajkummar Rao.
The Sky is Pink: What to Expect?
In the movie, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar will be seen playing parents to a teenager who is diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. The story of The Sky Is Pink is based on a real-life couple who struggles to protect their daughter from the deadly disease. Starring the former actress Zaira Wasim in a prominent role, The Sky Is Pink is produced under the banner of Purple Pebble Pictures. The movie will mark the Bollywood debut of Rohit Saraf as well.
