Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor was last seen in 'Zero' and is yet to announce his next project. The film was directed by Anand L Rai. Apart from him, the film starred Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles. The film gained mixed reactions from the audience and thus tanked at the box office.

Speculations were rife that the actor will next be seen in 'Saare Jahan Se Aacha', but recent reports suggest that King Khan backed out of the project after the failure of 'Zero' as he is quite shaken, and is looking at scripts more carefully now.
