Ujda Chaman released on November 1, 2019, and the same day, the Hollywood movie Terminator: Dark Fate hit the screens in India. Amid the clash of releases, the critics even posted the comparison between the two movies on social media. With a production budget of ₹ 7 crore, the movie collected nett ₹ 1.75 crore on day one, as per reports. Whereas Terminator opened with a bang and reportedly collected ₹ 2.75 crore.

Reports suggest that on the first weekend of Ujda Chaman, the movie collected a total of ₹ 7.25 crore. On Friday, the collection of the movie was ₹1.75 crore approx. On Saturday and Sunday, the movie collected a total of ₹2.50 crore and ₹3.00 crore respectively.

Box office collection of the movie Terminator: Dark Fate

The Hollywood release Terminator: Dark Fate was the best new release of the week collecting almost ₹10 crore nett. The film had the best collections after Housefull 4 this week. As per reports, the Friday collection of the movie was ₹ 2.75 crore approx. The movie collected ₹3.75 crore on Saturday and ₹3.75 crore on Sunday. The total weekend collection of the movie was ₹ 9.75 crore approx.

The plot of the movie – Ujda Chaman

The movie is directed by Abhishek Pathak. The movie stars Sunny Singh in the role of a thirty-year-old man, Chaman Kohli. Chaman faces the problem of premature balding. Everywhere he goes, he is made fun of his bald spot. He is advised by an astrologer that he has to get married before his next birthday, else he will stay unmarried for his life. Desperate to find a wife for himself, Chaman starts approaching girls. Because of his premature balding, he gets rejected by many. He also considers getting a hair transplant done.
