Vardhan Puri's Yeh Saali Aashiqui set to enthrall audience on Nov 22

Vardhan Puri grandson of late actor Amrish Puri is also set to make his Bollywood debut in the film Yeh Saali Aashiqui. The film is set to release on November 22. Plot

Yeh Saali Aashiqui is a romantic thriller which is set to release on November 22 this year. The film stars Vardhan Puri and Shivaleeka Oberoi in lead roles. The trailer of Vardhaan Puri's film was dropped on November 5. The trailer of the film gives a fair idea about its plot. The trailer of the film starts with the police interrogating Vardhan. Vardhan’s character starts talking about his love interest in college and flashbacks from his time at college can be seen in the trailer. Debutant Shivaleeka Oberoi is introduced in these scenes. The on-screen couple seems happy in these scenes but Vardhan tells the police that he has not met her for the last three years. In the next few scenes, Shivaleeka’s character can be seen happily married.

The trailer progresses and the police accuse Vardhan Puri's character Sahil of sneaking inside his ex-girlfriend’s house. The drama of the film then ensues with Sahil banging on the glass shower wall. The scene is similar to the shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. The blame game of the film then becomes much more visible. Both parties involved in the film share their side of the story to the police and the dark side of the story is then explored. The final scene of the trailer is adding the mystery of the romantic thriller as Vardhan Puri's character Sahil can be seen chasing Shivaleeka with a chainsaw in his hand.

Yeh Saali Aashiqui has been directed by Cherag Ruparel. Cherag Ruparel has previously worked as an assistant director on films like Lafangey Parindey, Do Dooni Chaar, Ishqzaade, Shudh Desi Romance, and Daawat-e-Ishq. The film was previously titled Paagal but due to a concern raised by the Censor Board the name of the film was changed.
