Vicky Kaushal : The Uri actor to star in Anees Bazmee's film?

Vicky Kaushal has been a part of a streak of hit films like Uri: The Surgical Strike, Sanju, and Raazi and the actor also garnered a lot of appreciation from everyone including Bollywood biggies and the audience. He also recently won The National Award for his performance in Uri. The film was not only critically acclaimed but also performed amazingly well at the box office. Vicky will next be seen in the Dharma Productions' horror movie titled Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship. And now, if rumours are to be believed, he has also been roped in for an untitled film to be produced by Ekta Kapoor, which will be helmed by Anees Bazmee. During the launch of Pagalpanti trailer, he revealed that he will be directing the second installment of the hit movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani. The film will reportedly be an out-and-out comedy and Vicky will play the lead role in the film in a never-seen-before avatar. A source told a magazine that Ekta was wanting to work with Anees and has finally signed him to direct her next film which will be a family entertainer. The project will go on floors around 2020 year-end. However, around two months ago, Anees took to Twitter to clear the air that he was working on two projects only i.e Pagalpanti and Bhool Bhulaiya. But like they say, there is no smoke without fire, so we still don't know if these are just rumours since the official announcements are yet to be made by the makers of the film.
