The fact that Ranveer Singh’s energy knows no bounds is well-known. The actor is seen doing something quirky most of the times, be it dancing or posing uniquely. And that’s the reason why Vicky Kaushal feels Ranveer Singh would be a perfect choice for Bigg Boss. The Uri: The Surgical Strike actor quipped that it’d be interesting to see if the house manages to hold him for that long.

While the 20th edition of the IIFA Awards had made headlines with all the announcements last month, it is now gearing up for a premiere soon on TV. A promo of the show recently hit social media. In the video, the host Ayushmann Khurrana asked his National Award-winning partner Vicky Kaushal, “Who do you want to see in Bigg Boss?” Vicky Kaushal replied, "Ranveer Singh," and then adding, “I want to see how the house will be able to stop him.” The Sanju actor’s answer left everyone in the audiences in splits, including Deepika Padukone, who looked at him with a laugh.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were the stars of the recently-held IIFA Awards, first by flaunting unique outfits. Ranveer Singh’s hairstyle and Deepika Padukone’s flowy gown became a part of the memes and got compared hilariously to a cartoon character and a mop respectively. That was not all since they were also among the winners at the event. While Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor for Padmaavat, Deepika was honored with the Best Performance in a leading role by a female in the last 20 years.

Takht

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal are all set to work together for the first time with Takht. The movie, to be directed by Karan Johar, is reportedly set during the Mughal-era. The plot revolves around the characters of Ranveer and Vicky, who reportedly play Dara Shikoh and Aurangzeb respectively. The period action drama is also set to feature Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar. The film will reportedly go on floors at the start of 2020 and is likely to hit the screens in the same year. It’d be interesting to see how this light-hearted comment sets up the platform for their on-screen and off-screen camaraderie.
