Vidya Balan, on the eve of Children's Day, posted a short video announcing her association with NGO Arpan. The organisation based in Mumbai works at protecting children from sexual abuse. The Instagram post shared by Vidya Balan said, "#ChildSafetyWeek I am very excited to share that @arpan_csa, an NGO working on the issue of child sexual abuse, that I am associated with, has launched @ChildSafetyWeek this #ChildrensDay! Let's come together to keep our children safe from child sexual abuse."
The social initiative with Vidya Balan in the forefront aims at fighting the evils of child sexual abuse.
