VIRAL: Someone mistook Amitabh Bachchan for Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh had to get to the bottom of it. Here's Big B's explanation

While Amitabh Bachchan getting mistaken as someone else in any part of the world might come as a shock to Indians, the fact that he was mistaken as Salman Khan might make their jaws drop. But the incident did happen in Glasgow during the shoot of ‘Badla’ and Big B himself had tweeted about it. The producer of the movie, Shah Rukh Khan was curious to know from the actor what had happened exactly.

While Amitabh Bachchan getting mistaken as someone else in any part of the world might come as a shock to Indians, the fact that he was mistaken as Salman Khan might make their jaws drop. But the incident did happen in Glasgow during the shoot of ‘Badla’ and Big B himself had tweeted about it. The producer of the movie, Shah Rukh Khan was curious to know from the actor what had happened exactly. The superstar revealed that he waved back at the person as he didn’t know how to react.

In the chat show-like video ‘Unplugged’ as part of the promotions of the movie, SRK shows him his tweet and asks him about it. The ‘Shahenshah’ replied, "We were shooting on the streets in Glasgow and then I had to walk on the footpath. As I was walking, a car went by and our desi bhai was sitting in the car, who waved and said: 'Hey, Salman Khan, how you doing?' So, I waved back at him and walked on. What to do."

In June last year, Bachchan had tweeted about the incident along with a snap of him walking on the streets in Glasgow. But the 'Don' star had not revealed how he had reacted. 

'Badla', also starring Taapsee Pannu is a suspense thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The movie is gearing up for release on 8 March.
