Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi recently had a fanboy moment as he came across Hollywood actress Maud Adams while attending a charity event at Las Vegas.
Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi recently had a fanboy moment as he came across Hollywood actress Maud Adams while attending a charity event at Las Vegas. Maud Adams who is known for her role as Bond girl in two films- 'The Man with the Golden Gun' (1974) and 'Octopussy' was hailed by Vivek Oberoi as 'timelessly beautiful' and 'legend in her own right'.
Vivek Oberoi shared a picture of his fanboy moment on Sunday, September 29, on social media and where he can be seen striking a picture-perfect pose with Maud Adams as they both twin in black outfits. "Fanboy moment! Hollywood superstar, gorgeous Bond girl, legend in her own right and timelessly beautiful #MaudAdams- the unforgettable 'octopussy' in one of my favourite bond films. It was lovely meeting you!" he captioned the Twitter post.

On the professional front
After starring in 'PM Narendra Modi' biopic earlier this year, Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is now gearing up for yet another nationalistic film based on Balakot airstrike 'Balakot: The True Story'. As per media reports, Vivek Oberoi has recently gained the rights to make a film. Balakot airstrike was conducted by India Air Force in February 2019. The film is reportedly inspired by IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was taken into custody by Pakistani forces during the aerial combat between Indian and Pakistan and was released.
As per media reports, the film will be made in three languages- Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and will star leading actors of the industries in pivotal roles. The casting of the project will reportedly include for the roles of IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman and Squadron Leader Minty Agarwal who guided Indian Air Force’s interception to destroy Pakistan’s fighter jets. The film will reportedly go on the floor later this year and will be shot across Delhi, Agra and Jammu & Kashmir.
Talking about the film, Vivek Oberoi reportedly said that as a patriotic citizen of India, it’s his duty to highlight what the Indian army forces are truly capable of. Hailing IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, Vivek Oberoi further said that through this film he wants to highlight the bravery of Indian soldiers like Abhinandan who went behind the enemy lines and risking his life to do what was needed to be done.
Next James Bond film set to hit the theaters
Meanwhile, next James Bond film, 'Bond 25' is scheduled to hit the big screens on April 8, 2020. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, 'Bond 25' revolves around Bond, whose peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter [Wright] from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
While actor Daniel Craig will be essaying his role as the iconic detective, media reports suggest that black British actor Lashana Lynch will replace him as the new 007 after his character leaves MI6.
