War: Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff’s film is shot in the Arctic Circle

War movie is Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s upcoming intense actioner that is set to hit the screens on October 2 this year. Hrithik and Tiger are seen sharing the screen for the first time, the trailer of the film is testimony to their on-screen war chemistry. The trailer of the movie War was released on August 27, 2019, and it got a huge thumbs-up reaction from Hrithik and Tiger’s fans. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films.

It is said that War is the first-ever movie to be shot in the Arctic circle. The high octane car chase sequence featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff is shot in Finland. In an interview with ANI, Siddharth told, “We were very clear from the start that we want to give the Indian audiences an action-packed movie that they would have never seen before. Our film has an intense car sequence that sees Hrithik and Tiger perform an adrenaline-pumping action stunt that has been entirely shot on ice. We shot this in Finland which is in the Arctic circle and we were informed by our production team that we were the first-ever film in the world to shoot an action sequence of this scale in the Arctic”.

“Hrithik and Tiger pushed themselves to pull off some death-defying stunts. This sequence was incredibly risky but visually so stunning that we went for it”, the director added.

The jaw-dropping sequence on ice in the film is designed by well-known action director Paul Jennings. He had earlier directed big Hollywood action spectacles like The Dark Knight starring Christian Bale, San Andreas starring Dwayne Johnson, Jack Reacher starring Tom Cruise and Game of Thrones among others. War is touted to be the biggest action entertainer of 2019. Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are pitted against each other in War. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. The filmmakers have released a song named Ghungroo which is being considered as the party number of 2019. Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor are seen traipsing on an island often breaking into dance in between. The song is said to be shot on the Amalfi coast in Italy. It is said to be one of the most expensive destinations in the world. Along with Hindi, War will hit the screens in Tamil and Telugu as well.
