War Movie: Will it cross the 200 cr mark? Box Office predictions
War has made a huge box office collection on day one itself. Here’s all you need to know about the future predictions of the movie considering the earlier days
War movie has been doing exceptionally well at the box office. It has been revealed by Taran Adarsh leading film critic and trade analyst that the movie made ₹ 53.35 crores across 4000 screens in India. The movie released in three languages, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Further breaking the numbers, Taran revealed that the film made a whopping amount of ₹ 51.60 crores in Hindi alone, while it made ₹ 1.75 crores in Tamil and Telugu.
Predictions
Looking at the figures of the box office collections from day 1 and day 2, War has seen a significant drop. The movie, reportedly only made ₹ 23 crores on Thursday. However, it is not an uncommon phenomenon considering that it was a working day. After the figures from day one and two, it has been alleged that the movie has set a tone for a high earning weekend. The movie has garnered a huge amount that surpassed Amir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan on its first day box office collection.
It is alleged that the estimated budget of the movie was approximately ₹ 200 crores. The film was released internationally. Supposedly, the film released in 400 screens in India, out of which War was released in Hindi in 3850 screens. The movie supposedly was released in 1350 screens overseas and about 5350 screens worldwide. Despite having a really strong competition from Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in the South and multiple movies released in Bengal due to festival period, the movie has done exceptionally well.
War is directed by Siddharth Anand of Salaam Namaste and Bang Bang! fame, who has also written the screenplay and story of the movie. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles. The action-packed movie pits Hrithik Roshan opposite Tiger Shroff in a battle to overmatch each other. The movie released on October 2, and has minted exuberant amount of money as the Gandhi Jayanti holiday played to the advantage of the movie.
