October was one of the luckiest months of 2019 for Bollywood as it witnessed a few blockbusters. The month kicked in with the 300 crore film, War, which released on October 02, 2019. Alongside War, Hollywood's most awaited Joker also made its release on the same day. However, War had a higher impact on the audience and critics.

With the release of War on October 02, 2019, box office was put on fire with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's action chemistry. The movie broke records of Avengers: Endgame and Thugs of Hindustan's day one collection. War acquired more than 50 crores as its day one collection. Along with box office collection, the movie also gained positive reviews. War's total collection has crossed the 300 crore bar.

The next movie which showered that box office collection was Housefull 4. The comedy historical drama was released during the festive week of Diwali. Housefull 4 also managed to gain great response on its release on big-screens. It's day one collection went up to almost 20 crores, topping Saand Ki Aankh and Made in China.

The last movie would be Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Farhan Akhtar's family drama, The Sky Is Pink. This movie did not have a great start but still managed to graph its way to 15 crores. In comparison to other October releases, The Sky Is Pink did much better at the box office.
