Well-known Hollywood stunt coordinator Paul Jennings has said that the action sequence in Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s upcoming action thriller, War, is at par with Fast & Furious and Mission Impossible. Paul has worked on spectacular actions films such as The Dark Knight (2008), San Andreas (2015), and famous HBO series Game Of Thrones. War is Paul’s first Bollywood film. YRF has roped in Paul Jennings to design jaw-dropping, never-before-seen action scenes for War.
War Movie: GoT Stunt Director Says War at Par With Fast and Furious and Mission Impossible
“What I love about Bollywood is I believe you can push the action a little bit further. You can do things which push the boundaries of believability right to the edge and it means you can end up with more spectacular sequences,” Jennings said. “On Bollywood movies, you can sometimes be limited by the budget but on War Adi (Aditya Chopra) just wanted to make the best action sequences he could. So we had a great budget and were able to do anything we liked,” he added. Paul could not stop himself from praising the action sequences in War. “So, I would say there is no difference between the action sequences on War and a Hollywood movie except that we pushed the boundaries a little further which only enhances them. There is no difference between the sequences in War and let’s say Mission Impossible or Fast and Furious!” Paul said.
While showering praises on Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, Paul described both as "dedicated actors." Paul also shared his work experience with the duo. The Hollywood action director remarked that “They are both truly dedicated actors who work hard every day at their craft of acting which embraces everything from not just their performances but physical training, fighting, dancing and diet”. Paul also believes that it is because of Hrithik and Tiger that the team was able to take the fights in War to a whole new level.
