Ranbir Kapoor who is currently in Varanasi with Alia Bhatt and director Ayan Mukerji, shooting for 'Brahmastra', hit the headlines on Sunday for his rude behaviour towards a fan.
Netizens were divided over the opinion whether the fan touching the actor's feet and sitting on the floor was right or not.
A fan visited Ranbir Kapoor and gave him a present. A video on social media showed how the fan touched Ranbir's feet and later sits on the floor next to him, asking him to open the present, while Ranbir was sitting on the couch. This didn't go down with the netizens and they started trolling the actor for his arrogant behaviour.
Now, the fan featured in the video has come out in defence of the actor and said that he is a nice and generous man. He cleared that he sat on the floor because he was showing an album that he made for him as a present. He also added that Ranbir gave him an autographed cap as a gift.
