After sharing pictures from her Mehendi ceremony, Priyanka Chopra has now given a glimpse of the dazzling Sangeet ceremony that took place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Rajasthan on Friday, 30 November.
In the multiple pictures and videos shared by the actress, we see a grand show of performances. The most important among them, obviously the then would-be spouses putting up a dazzling show for the guests. The groom also had a solo act and Priyanka's excited reaction alongside Mukesh and Neeta Ambani seems to be for that.
Peecee's mother Madhu Chopra also joined the 'Desi Girl' for an act. Even the Jonas brothers, Nick, Joe, Kevin and Frankie, performed together before posing in style in their traditional avatars. Joe Jonas' fiance Sophie Turner can be seen cheering at the events. And it also seems the 'Games of Thrones' star joined the bride and the other ladies for a performance.
Priyanka's cousin Parineeti Chopra came up with a romantic act for her 'Mimi didi' and 'Nick jiju.' It also seems there was a 'Ladkiwale' versus 'Ladkewale' competition at the Sangeet as we see Priyanka and Nick dancing with their respective well-wishers. We also see a trophy in the grand picture featuring all the guests and with Nick seen raising Priyanka's hand in one of the pictures, you can take a guess on which team might have won.
Peecee in her post wrote how the 'fierce song and dance competition' ended as a 'huge celebration of love.' Sharing how excited the couple was for the Sangeet, the actress praised the stories each of the families conveyed with lots of laughter and love. The duo conveyed their gratitude for the effort and that they will cherish the memories of the special evening for the rest of their lives. Peecee called it 'amazing' the start to a lifetime of togetherness of their families and friends.
Priyanka and Nick got married according to Christian rituals on 1 December and will reportedly tie the knot according to Hindu customs on December 2.
