Whom does Hrithik Roshan consider the 'Man of 2019'? Actor answers

Hrithik Roshan feels that there was no one 'best person' in 2019, because he believes that it is a creative field and one should be proud of many doing well.

How does one define the best in the film industry? Should it be in terms of the box office figures, critical acclaim, experience or fan following? Unlike sports or academics, where a fixed criteria is used to evaluate the ‘No 1’, it’s perhaps hard to figure out the ‘Best’ in B-Town, because the equations of the ‘market value’, innovation in filmmaking changes every Friday. While the award shows honour the ‘best’ every year, Hrithik Roshan feels there is no one ‘best person’ because films are a creative medium and there are multiple people who deserve to be the ‘Man of the Year’.

Hrithik Roshan recently attended the ‘Men of the Year’ awards for a fashion magazine, where he was asked who thought was the ‘Man of the Year 2019.’ The ‘Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai’ replied that there is no ‘one best person’ because they were in the creative field. The actor added that not just one, but many of his colleagues and contemporaries deserved the title. Hrithik Roshan added that the film industry should be proud of the fact that many of them were doing impressive work and earning success. 

Not exactly the ‘best’, but Hrithik was one of the winners of the awards night, taking home the ‘Game Changer of the Year’ award.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Hrithik Roshan is currently gearing up for the release of ‘War’, that also stars Tiger Shroff. The movie, directed by Siddharth Anand, also features Vaani Kapoor, and hits the theatres on October 2. The movie is being tipped for a big opening, courtesy the national holiday, big scale of the action sequences and the union, or rather the ‘War’ between two stars. If ‘War’ turns out to be a big success, Hrithik Roshan would end the year on a high.
