Kartik Aaryan has become a household name after his recent releases such as Luka Chuppi and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Will Kartik Aaryan justify Akshay Kumar’s role?

Bhool Bhulaiyaa stars Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja and Vidya Balan in lead. Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie was a super hit at the box office. Akshay Kumar as psychiatrist Dr. Aditya Shrivastav won many hearts with his performance. Now as Kartik Aaryan is set to star in the sequel, there are questions about will he justify Akshay’s role? Kartik has proved his talent in the movies that he has done. However, failures of films like Namaste England and Welcome Back, which were a sequel to films originally starring Akshay Kumar, has raised doubts.

In an interview with a daily, director of the movie Anees Bazmee revealed the reason behind casting Kartik Aaryan. He said that Kartik has a tremendous talent in comedy. He can look vulnerable and almost like a child on screen, just like Akshay Kumar. Anees Bazmee has worked with Akshay Kumar in hits like Welcome and Singh Is Kinng. Reportedly, Akshay will be seen in a cameo appearance in the film. The movie is said to be a sequel and not a remake, that opens a possibility of a franchise. This means that the two actors can be seen together on the big screen in the future if a third-part will be made.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Along with Kartik Aaryan, the movie stars Kiara Advani. Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani were seen in the first part will appear in the second part too. The film is written by Aakash Kaushik and Farhad Samji and Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Krishan Kumar. It is slated to release on July 31, 2020. The shooting of the film has begun.
