'You were my smile': Arjun Kapoor shares an emotional post on mother Mona Shourie Kapoor's death anniversary
On the occasion of his mother Mona Shourie Kapoor's death anniversary on Monday, March 25, Arjun Kapoor penned an emotional note on social media remembering her.
From 'Gunday' to 'Panipat', Arjun Kapoor's macho avatar is celebrated widely. However, the actor also has a soft side which comes out when he talks about his family. On the occasion of his mother Mona Shourie Kapoor's death anniversary on Monday, March 25, Arjun Kapoor penned an emotional note on social media remembering her. The actor took to Instagram and shared a throwback picture where an adorable baby Arjun can be seen playing in his mother's arms. Both Arjun and Mona can be seen smiling in the lovely photograph.
Sharing the post, on Instagram, Arjun wrote, "You were my smile & I hope wherever you are I make you smile still... it’s been 7 years since you left us & all your son is asking you is come back na, please."

Arjun Kapoor is the son of producer Boney Kapoor from his first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor. He also has a sister, Anshula Kapoor, who he is known to be very attached with. Previously, on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8, Arjun Kapoor shared a heartfelt post expressing love for his sister.
