Actor Angelina Jolie in an interview with an international media outlet claimed that none of her kids want to be actors as they are into business, humanitarian affairs, and other things. Actor Brad Pitt and Jolie have together raised six children and have made fortune in action films but their kids are not interested in glitz and glamour of Hollywood. Jolie further claimed that she has also presented her children to work as actors but none of them were fascinated by the idea.
Wants six of them to work as humanitarians
Her 11-year-old daughter Vivienne played a young Aurora in the first Maleficent to which Jolie claimed that her daughter still can't believe that she made her a princess. Her eldest 18-year-old son Maddox is currently studying in South Korea and reportedly was a part of his mother's 2015 film By The Sea as a trainee. He was also an executive producer on First They Killed My Father which was released back in 2017. Jolie has made sure that all six of her children learn a second language and embrace the countries they were born in. She further hopes that her kids work in some capacity as humanitarians in the future as she herself works with the United Nations and heads the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.
As the 44-year-old actor made an appearance at the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil conference in London, she reportedly spoke about how parenting has become her most important priority and how she wants to focus on raising her children well.
“Really I just want to raise my children well, they’re all at those very special ages where you don’t want to miss a moment and just get it right before they’re out in the world on their own and having to face it. You hope you get all the good stuff in, so that’s my main focus. But I have some other crazy ideas for future things, let’s see what happens.”
'Life as a parent'
She recently also talked about life as a parent and about her feelings after she sent her son, Maddox, away to college. During an interview with an international media outlet, Mr. and Mrs. Smith's actor stated how happy and proud she was to send her son off to Yonsei University in South Korea. Jolie further added that she was full of excitement as the world grew bigger as her son stepped out into the real world. She said that there was always something to learn from children as it is always different with every kid. Angelina also said that this event was that one moment in her life wherein she looked back at her son multiple times before she actually left the airport. She also said that Maddox did not enter the airport and kept on waving back because he somehow knew that his mother would turn back to look at him.
