Ariana Grande cancels Lexington show as she feels ‘very sick’
Singer Ariana Grande has reportedly cancelled her Sweetener Tour show in Lexington, Kentucky, on November 17 as she updates fans about her worsening health.

American singer Ariana Grande reportedly has cancelled her Sweetener Tour show in Lexington, Kentucky, on November 17 as her health has worsened. She updated fans about her health through Instagram story hours before the concert. Grande has promised to refund all the tickets. On Saturday, Grande also revealed that she is seeing a doctor and trying her best to get better for the next show.
"I woke up kind of 10 times worse and it hurts so bad to swallow. I'm not really sure what's going on. But, I, unfortunately, don't think I will be able to push through tonight. I am so sad and sorry," she said the video. I'm just really devastated. Thank you for understanding and sending love. I will keep you posted as soon as I know what is going on with my body. Thank you for understanding and I am so sorry”. The 26-year-old said.
Might have to cancel some things: Grande
Grande wrote that her throat and head are in pain and she is suffering from bad sinus due to which she feels ‘very sick’. The singer is being taken care of by her mother and friends. In the message to her fans, she wrote: "I just really don’t know what’s happening with my body right now and need to figure it out”. Also, due to her current situation, she might have to cancel on her next performance and upcoming shows which are part of her tour. She wrote, “I’m scared that I might have to cancel some things, so this is kind just a heads up of like I don’t know what’s happening with my body, and I’m really disappointed and freaked out of why I can’t get better because it’s been over three weeks at this point.”
In another post she updated her fans, telling them that she is unable to swallow the medication and lift her head. She will again see the doctor and keep her fans updated. After the news of her illness, her fans posted various ‘get well soon’ tweets on Instagram and praying for her good health. Grande's next performance is scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia on November 19.
