It is a DC film that will have Harley Quinn in the titular role and will explore her perspective in Gotham after being separated from her crime partner Joker. Margot Robbie talks about Birds of Prey

Margot Robbie in an interview with a media portal spoke about the progression of her character Harley Quinn in the film Birds of Prey. Margot Robbie in the interview stated that the story in Birds of Prey is told from Quinn’s point of view, hence the audience will experience an insight into her world.

She continued that Birds of Prey is a reflection of Quinn’s personality. It is a little bonkers, everything is heightened, she said. The film is poppy, fun, violent, and crazy at the same time. Birds of Prey also provides an element of absurdity. The film is kooky, hilarious and little heartbreaking at the same time, she added.

Margot Robbie was first introduced as DC’s comic villain Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad in 2016. Robbie as Harley Quinn stole the limelight from the DC movie that tanked at the box-office. The trailer of Birds of Prey is a reflection of Robbie’s words in the interview. The trailer starts with Quinn mentioning about her separation from Joker and realising that there are other women like her in the city of Gotham.
