Blake Lively trolls her husband actor Ryan Reynolds on his birthday

The Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, are known for showing their affection for each other through hilarious Instagram posts on each other's special days. The Deadpool star, who turns 43 today on October 24, has shared extremely unflattering posts of his wife with hilarious captions in the past. Blake's responses to them are equally funny and full of sarcasm. For Reynolds' birthday this year, Blake took to Instagram to post a silly photograph with her husband.

“I picked a good one”, Blake wrote as a caption to a picture that shows her finger put in Ryan’s left nostril. The fans have loved and approved of the post through their comments. A few of their close relatives have also commented with similarly quirky wishes for Reynolds.

It's an expression of love

The couple has an extraordinary tradition of congratulating each other on their birthdays. On Blake's birthday this year, Ryan Reynolds posted a series of unflattering pictures of her through his Instagram account. In nearly all of the photographs, Lively is caught off guard and can be seen blinking, making funny faces or barely in the picture while her husband expertly poses for the camera.

Blake Lively has also repeatedly struck back with goofy pictures of her husband and funny captions with them. On one of his previous birthdays, she posted a picture of actor Ryan Gosling with Ryan Reynolds but conveniently cropped Reynolds out of the photo. The caption read "Happy Birthday, baby."

For both, Lively and Reynolds, this is a way of making each other laugh and feel loved. The actors are extremely talented and share an excellent relationship with each other. They are equally funny and sarcastic when it comes to their friends in the industry too.

Blake Lively is known for her role as Serena Van der Woodsen on the popular CW series Gossip Girl. She has acted in films like Green Lantern (2011) alongside her husband, and Age of Adaline (2015) among others. The couple got married in 2012 and have three daughters together.
