Hollywood star Brad Pitt had also recently called the International Space Station (ISS) Monday to talk to American astronaut Nick Hague, and asked him if he had spotted the Vikram lander. Pitt asked, “I got to go to JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) last week and it was on the day when India was landing on the moon and the United States were assisting them in that effort. Could you see that from where you are?”
NASA TV broadcasted the call as part of the promotional ad for the Hollywood star's sci-fi drama 'Ad Astra'.
