Britney Spears' father cleared of child abuses charge against grandson

The Hollywood singer Britney Spear's father, Jamie Spears gave up the post of her daughter's conservator amidst the allegations of sexual assault. Jamie Spears was accused of sexual misconduct on his 13-year old grandson, Sean. However, the pop star's father will not face any actions on his accusations. The child's father, Kevin Federline accused the grandfather of being involved in a physical altercation with Sean on August 24. Jamie Spears was also alleged to shake and grab Sean.
Police report
The former backing dancer a Britney Spear's ex-husband, Kevin Federline filed the police report against his former father-in-law. Federline was married with the pop star from 2004 to 2007. Reportedly, he said that his other son, 13-year-old Jayden was also present in the house at the time when the incident took place. Jayden is the second son Spears had with Federline. The aggression that Jamie Spears has been accused of includes shaking and grabbing of Sean. Jamie Spears took the ownership as a guardian of her daughter when she was under psychiatric care after denying to let go of the custody of her children. Back then, he had sent a request to the court to put his daughter under his care. This has given father Spears the authority to restrict the visitors of Britney Spears by any means except her attorney, Samuel Ingham.
Court's action
The California authorities have taken a decision to refrain from any legal action. The Ventura County District Attorney's Office reportedly made a statement that there was not enough proof to support the claims made by Federline and prove the crime. However, Sean's father had taken a restraining order against his grandfather following the incident. After the police report was filed, Jami Spears resigned from the post of Britney's conservator. The reason that was provided by him to step down were health issues. Moreover, this request was approved on September 16. The current conservator of Britney Spears is Jodie Montgomery.
Custody of the boys
Sean turned 14 on September 14 and the younger son, Jayden turned 13 on September 12. Kevin Federline, the biological father still has the custody of the boys, 70 percent of the time. Britney Spears will have their custody for the remaining 30 percent of the time. Previously, the couple has divided the custody in half. The divorce between the couple was settled in March 2007 after filing for it in November 2006. This April, evidently Britney checked into a mental health facility.
