Cardi B takes Paris Fashion Week by surprise in Richard Quinn’s design

American rapper, singer Cardi B took the Paris Fashion Week by surprise after she was spotted in a head to toe floral look on September 28. The 26-year-old rapper arrived there in a head-to-toe blue and green Richard Quinn’s design. She posted a video and picture of her, with Eiffel Tower in the background, on Instagram and Twitter respectively. “I would have first guessed this as Lady GaGa and 2cd Cardi B,” a user replied on her tweet.

‘I’m here to serve it to you’

Cardi B posted tweeted the picture with the caption, “How they going to understand it when they don’t even understand me #PARISFASHIONWEEK”. She also posted a video on her Instagram page where she was posing for the photographers. “What’s popping, baby?! I heard you...were missing me at Fashion Week New York. I’m here to serve it to you….and serve it to you cold,” said Cardi B while strutting through the streets. She captioned the video with, “PARIS FASHION WEEK, IM HERE! Designer: @richardquinn”.

Known for taking a fashion risk

At the 2019 Met Gala, Cardi B, known for taking a fashion risk, donned a ruby-red carpet dripping dress for the ‘camp’ theme. The look featured 44 carats Rubies worth $250,000 and took 2000 man hours to finish it. An international fashion magazine reported that the dress, designed by Thom Browne, involved 30,000 feathers, 2,000 hours, 35 people. It was interpreted that the dress was representative of the uterine lining shedding during menstruation.

Grammy Award and Guinness World Records

Cardi B’s latest Writing on the Wall ft. Post Malone has garnered almost 7 million views on YouTube in four days. The Manhattan-born, New City raised rapper has received seven Grammy Award nominations winning one.  She also entered in two Guinness World Records for most simultaneous Billboard US Hot 100 entries by a female and most simultaneous Billboard US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Top 10 entries by a female. Recently, she hurled a shoe at another rapper Nicki Minaj at Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party in New York City after the later reportedly criticized Cardi for not being a good mother.
