Dwayne Johnson reveals the first look of DC Comics anti hero Black Adam

Dwayne Johnson finally revealed the first look of his DC Comics anti-hero film Black Adam. Dwayne revealed the look on his Instagram. Dwayne Johnson who will be next seen in the Jumanji sequel revealed the first look of his DC Comics Film Black Adam. The Black Adam movie has been under development for a long time now but finally, the production schedule has been revealed. Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson in the lead role will go on floor in summer 2020. The official release date of the film has also been revealed. Black Adam is set to release on December 22, 2021. The Rock fans got a glimpse of the former WWE wrestler in the Black Adam’s role via a concept art design from digital artist BossLogic and DC Comics artist Jim Lee.

Dwayne Johnson shared this first glimpse of his character on Instagram. Dwayne Johnson also expressed his excitement of being part of the DC Comics project in the caption of this post. In the post, Dwayne state that like most kids growing up he dreamt about being a superhero. He further mentioned he also dreamt about having cool superpowers, fighting for what is right and always protecting people. He then explained that his perspective regarding superheroes changed at the age of ten when he was introduced to the greatest superhero of all time- Superman.

Dwayne Johnson further in his caption explained that although he liked Superman at that point in time his perspective regarding the superhero changed and he realised that he can never become Superman. Dwayne mentioned that his personality is rebellious, rambunctious, resistant to convention and authority. Finally, he has found a superhero who matches his DNA and shares a similar personality. He then went onto talk about Black Adam and thanked Jim lee and BossLogic for this first glimpse. According to a media portal’s report, Black Adam was initially supposed to appear in Shazam which was released in 2019 but then was removed from the script for a solo venture.
