High School Musical: What is the lead cast upto after 13 years

High School Musical is a popular film franchise that follows the life of a few teenagers around high school. Here is the update on where the star cast is now.

Believe it or not, High School Musical is still one of the closest films to their fans' hearts. The cast includes Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and more. Recently the HSM makers also announced that High School Musical 4 is going to happen. The president of Disney himself said that the franchise is a part of Disney's DNA and embodies what they stand for. But will the previous cast still give us the same excitement? Here is a look into where the High School Musical cast is now.

Zac Efron / Troy Bolton

The actor has said bye-bye to his fringe jock hair and welcomed a six-pack. Zac was recently seen playing the serial killer, Ted Bundy in Netflix's Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile. In December 2017, the star was a part of the star cast of The Greatest Showman alongside Hugh Jackman and Zendaya. He also has a YouTube channel where he posts fitness and travel videos.

Vanessa Hudgens / Gabriella Montez

The actor was seen in The Princess Switch, a Christmas film for Netflix in 2018. She played a dual role in the film starring alongside Sam Palladio, Kevin Sagar, and Suanne Braun. She will also be seen in another film for the streaming service titled The Knight Before Christmas. She was seen in multiple other films like Dog Days, Second Act and many more. The star is allegedly dating actor Austin Butler for a long time now. 

Ashley Tisdale / Sharpay Evans

Everyone remembers Ashley playing Maddie in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. She also voiced the character Candice from Phineas and Ferb. She recently dropped her third studio album in May. The star tied the knot in 2014 with musician Christopher French and also owns a beauty brand, Illuminate Cosmetics

Lucas Grabeel / Ryan Evans

Lucas is popular for playing Toby Kennish on the drama series Switched at Birth. He also competed in the Food Network's Chopped in 2014. the actor is a part of a band called Midnight Holler. He is also known to have voiced multiple characters on animated shows.

Corbin Bleu / Chad Danforth

The star was a runner up on the 17th season of the show Dancing With The Stars. He has two albums of his own and has also guest-starred on shows like The Good Wife, Castle, The Fosters and Chicago Med. He went to become a part of multiple Broadway shows including the 2019 revival of Kiss Me Kate, In The Heights, Godspell and Holiday Inn: The New Irving Berlin Musical.

Monique Coleman / Taylor McKessie

She was named UN's first-ever Youth Champion for her efforts to improve the lives of young people. Coleman is also a Champion for Girl Up, an organisation that helps empower young women to become leaders. The actor also has her own talk show called Gimme Mo where she engages in discussing compelling topics.
