Rihanna's Fifth Annual Diamond Ball was held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on September 12. The 31-year old singer, businesswoman, fashion designer, and philanthropist became the proud host of a successful night of the charity event. It became more remarkable with the presence and support of Hollywood A-listers at the Ball, to bring profit for the Clara Lionel Foundation owned by Rihanna. The starry event featured host Seth Meyers, and artists including Pharrell Williams, DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, G-Eazy, Yo Gotti along with Rihanna herself performed their hit pieces. Barbados' Prime Minister Mia Mottley among attendees
One of her guests was Barbados' Prime Minister Mia Mottley, who made history in 2018 after being the first woman Prime Minister of the Caribbean nation. It is also the same country where Rihanna was born and raised. Mottley was also honored at the Ball with an award for breaking barriers. However, while talking to reporters, Mottley sidelined her won achievements and mentioned all the contributions made by the Robyn Rihanna Fenty to Barbados. It is also one of the countries that are being contributed by the Clara Lionel Foundation. According to Mottley, Barbados is a place where people believe in helping those who can not help themselves and Rihanna's support is very special for the country. Mottley further says that Rihanna carries the DNA of the country wherever she goes. Naturi Naughton, the singer also praised the efforts made by Rihanna. Naughton believes that the multi-hyphenate is doing everything to contribute back to society with her company Fenty Beauty and her clothing brand. Kehlani Ashley Parrish, the American songwriter, and singer also appreciated Rihanna's inclusivity and representing the non-stereotypical aspect of the fashion and beauty industry. So many other popular names joined and supported Rihanna for a greater cause.
