One user mused how a technical glitch could occur in Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India. The comment read, "Technical issue in bengaluru, Silicon Valley of India".
Some netizens expressed disbelief at how a technical glitch could not be fixed in Bengaluru. Reflecting on this, a comment read, "Just tell me that you are joking or if you are not joking then someone else did a joke with you!...If you would have asked anyone from the audience to fix it then believe me they would have easily fixed it!"
While some comments made light of the situation by stating how a refund would not accommodate the pain of making one's way through the Bengaluru traffic for the show, other comments firmly asked for accountability from the organisers. Another comment compared how Noah handled and addressed this case of mismanagement in comparison to a Zakir Khan live show the X user had attended in Patna where the show was conducted despite technical difficulties.
Trevor Noah apologises to Indian fans
Trevor Noah was all set to commence his first Bengaluru show on September 27. The comedian, however, immediately ran into acoustic glitches, so much so, that it would be impossible for the audience to hear him. When he was informed that it was an issue that could not be fixed, Noah went ahead and cancelled both Bengaluru shows.
He apologised to the audience, promising to see through their refunds. He also articulated in his X post how it simply did not make sense to do a show with the audience unable to hear.
