Jack Ryan Season 2: Fans react to the new season of the web series

Author Tom Clancy introduced the character of Jack Ryan first in his books. Tom Clancy wrote a series of books called Ryanverse and the character of Jack Ryan was introduced there. Soon the book was adapted and made into a web series which released on Amazon Prime Video. The second season sees Jack in the middle of political warfare in a fictionalised corrupt Venezuela "suffering an economic meltdown that has fueled mass migration". This concept was less than pleasing to the country's actual government; one spokesperson described the theme as "crass war propaganda disguised as entertainment"

There are mixed reviews received for the web series. While some fans have been appreciating the character of Jack Ryan there are some who have not stopped tweeting to Jack Ryan. It is reported that the plot of the series is poorly written and is not up to the mark. Travel writer, Erica Firpo wrote that the series was a bummer.

Some fans even tweeted that they had high expectations but the show failed to reach up to the mark. Buck Sexton, a CIA analyst tweeted on his verified Twitter account that, “One episode in to Amazon “Jack Ryan” series and it’s pretty garbage-y Even the ambush sequence that we all knew was coming was weak like a bad rip off of “clear and present danger” with Harrison Ford And why can’t they get CIA culture/language right at all?”.

The first season of Jack Ryan was a superhit. Be it the casting, the plot and the graphics. Everything looked perfect in the previous season. This made the producers come up with a sequel of Jack Ryan.
