American actor Jennifer Aniston recently opened up about her character, Alex Levy, in the upcoming series called 'The Morning Show'. The actor also revealed that the struggles of her role in the show draw a similarity with her personal life. Jennifer Aniston became a household name after starring in the sitcom 'Friends' which is known for its worldwide popularity. 'The Morning Show' is an upcoming drama which is scheduled to premiere on Apple TV app with an Apple TV+ subscription.

Jennifer Aniston as 'Alex Levy'

The Jennifer's character Alex Levy plays an Executive Producer on the show, with a Co-anchor played by Steve Carell. The male counterpart is fired for sexual misconduct on the show. Reportedly, Aniston reveals that she and Levy share similarities. Like both, the character and the real-life Aniston have days where they “just want to cry”. They also relate to each other in the feeling of not wanting to be seen or interact with anyone. Aniston believes that there are days when she doesn't feel like standing on the podium, or walk the red carpet. There are days where the actor does not like her pictures being taken and just cry. The American actor also explained all the grounds that “The Morning Show” covers. The similar phases from her life, like children, guilt, power struggle, being a woman in the industry and then going through a divorce, publically. In short, as Aniston mentions being “just a little bit of screw-up”.

Jennifer Aniston also says that she wouldn't have opted to play this character in any other point of her life, due to lack of experience. The 50-year old actor Aniston also revealed that during the preparation of her character in 'Good Morning America', she went behind the scenes and spent some time with American journalist Diane Sawyer. She picked up Sawyer's style, along with wardrobe selections, and caffeine habits.

"The Morning Show"

It is an upcoming comedy-drama web television series starring Jennifer Aniston and Steve Caroll. Along with these actors, who play co-anchors, there is Reese Witherspoon who plays a younger reporter. Witherspoon was “stoked” to be working with Aniston again. The two actors first met while playing sisters on the set of 'Friends'. The show is set to be premiered on November 1. The show is about the high-stakes world of morning news and all the people who are behind it in the creation.
