Kylie Jenner recreates Marilyn Monroe's look for Halloween cover shoot

The typical Kardashian-Jenner Halloween costume does not come from a typical costume store. This year for Halloween, Kylie Jenner sported not one, not two, but six costumes. Kylie's stylist Jill Jacobs collaborated with Bryan Haerns to create Jenner's Madonna look in 2003 and teamed up with Alejandro Collection for Jenner's Marilyn Monroe outfit this year. For a renown magazine Halloween cover shoot, Kylie sported the Marilyn Monroe inspired outfit.

Kylie as Marilyn:

The outfit was inspired by Marilyn Monroe's Gentleman Prefer Blondes. Kylie specifically wanted to pay homage to one of the iconic film moments when Marilyn performed on Diamonds are Girl's Bestfriend. The outfit took weeks to get ready. Alejandro shared that as Kylie loves pop culture, no one knows better than Kylie when it comes to diamonds being a girl's best friend.

The goal of Alejandro was to create a replica of the original dress. Peraza paid great attention to the minute details of the dress. From making the huge bow to perfecting the gloves and setting it all together with a perfect belt he paid attention to all fine details while creating the replica attire. Further, Alejandro also shared that it was like a dream come true for him and his team.

The whole attire took two weeks to get ready. The outfit has a built-in boning to give Kylie the perfect Marilyn look. The gloves were custom made by dying it in a custom dye to match the silk fabric of the outfit perfectly. They were longer than usual just like Marilyn sported in the Diamonds are Girl's Best Friend song.

Even Kylie just looked perfect in the cover shoot just like Marilyn. The hairstyle and makeup were on-point and the dress was exactly like the original Marilyn Monroe's ensemble. Kylie even sported a Madonna outfit replica in 2003 at MTV VMA's and slayed in both the looks.
