American singer, songwriter and actress Lady Gaga in a recent tweet posted a Sanskrit mantra, Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu, which has gone viral and has received thousands of likes. The mantra literally translates to “May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all”.

Netizens reaction

Gaga's tweet has left the netizens confused as one Twitterati commented, “Googles if this means anything about new music in a different language”. Another follower asked whether the mantra is the name of her new album. On the other hand, many of Gaga's Indian followers commented “Jai Shree Ram”.

The American popstar recently also went viral while performing at a show in Las Vegas, she fell off the stage in the audience and was rescued by security guard later. Gaga asked a fan to join her on the stage and the excited fan hopped on to the stage and tried picking up Lady Gaga as the spotlight was flashing on them. While adjusting Gaga after successfully mounting her on his hand the fan’s leg got twisted in the process. Owing to the narrow ramp of the extended stage, the fan and Lady Gaga both fell after the fan lost balance. The video of the incident has been doing rounds on social media since then.
