Little Women is the second directorial venture of Lady Bird director Greta Gerwig. The film was recently screened at the SAG-AFTRA recently and the film was welcomed with open arms. According to a media portal’s report, critics are praising this attempt of Greta Gerwig to encapsulate the tale of March sisters and their efforts to fulfil their dreams post the Civil War.

The same media report also suggests that Saoirse Ronan who already had an Oscar nomination for her role in Lady Bird might become a part of the Best Actress race again. Laura Dern might also get a nod with an Oscar nomination for her role in the film as the mother of the March sisters. Meryl Streep’s presence in the film has made the film a highly anticipated flick this year. Another major Academy Award element could be for the director Greta Gerwig since she might get a nod for the director and adapted screenplay this year at the Oscars suggests the report.
