Michelle Yeoh is now a married woman. The Oscar winning actress exchanged vows with long standing fiance Jean Todt earlier this week in Switzerland. The two were engaged for nearly two decades before saying 'I do'.

Michelle Yeoh marries Jean Todt

Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt married each other in an intimate ceremony held in Geneva, Switzerland on Thursday, July 27. This came after a 19-year-long engagement in 2004. Yeoh, 60, and Todt, 77, reportedly got engaged within just 2 months of knowing each other. The news of the marriage was shared by ex-Ferrari Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa who shared a picture of the wedding program coupled with snaps from the intimate event.

The details of the program read, "On 26th July 2004, J.T proposed to marry M.Y and she said YES. Today after 6992 days on 27th July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!" As per an IANS report, the newly married pair met in Shanghai while the actress was doing publicity for Ferrari.

Who is Jean Todt?

Michelle Yeoh's long time fiance and now husband used to be a much-decorated rally co-driver and racing director. He won multiple championships for Peugeot as well as Ferrari. . The year 2004 was a crucial onr for Todt as he got promoted to CEO of Ferrari. He also met Michelle the same year. After retiring from Ferrari Todt is now a part of the UN Secretary-General's special envoy for road safety.  Yeoh was married to Dickson Poon, a Hong Kong billionaire, between 1988 to 1992.
