Millie Bobby Brown to produce 'A Time Lost' along with Netflix

Millie Bobby Brown, breakout star of Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’, will now team up with her sister Paige Brown and Netflix to produce 'A Time Lost'

On September 10, according to the international media, Millie Bobby Brown will produce a Netflix original ‘A Time Lost’ under her PCMA Production banner. Brown who became a superstar after displaying her acting skills in the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’, wrote and developed the story along with her sister Paige.

According to the reports Anna Klassen was approached to write the screenplay for the ‘The Time Lost’. The storyline will follow a long-standing quarrel between two families in Long Island, New York with one of their little girls being diagnosed with cancer. The production of the film will be handled by Millie and her sister Paige, and her father Robert Brown will contribute as the executive producer.

Brown, the breakout star

The binge-watch worthy Netflix original sci-fi horror series ‘Stranger Things’ recently aired its third season. Brown plays Eleven in the show and has received appreciation for her acting. She was nominated Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Now she wishes to pursue the production business in collaboration with Netflix. 

The fifteen-year-old Brown also came out with her own beauty line ‘Florence by Mills’ which gained popularity.

Brown to produce with Netflix

In a statement given by Brown to international media, she offered her gratitude to Netflix for the collaboration and showing their confidence in the beautiful story that the Brown sisters have been working on for so long. The sisters describe the film as one about family, friendship, and overcoming obstacles in life.

On the other hand, Netflix's Lisa Nishimura in an interview with international media appreciated Millie with her extraordinary creative talent. She felt lucky to be working with Millie from the start of her career. According to Lisa, Millie has brought a different version of action to the screen and now as a writer and producer, it will be thrilling to see her work along with her sister.

More projects for Brown

The fifteen-year-old is confident and enthusiastic. She is becoming the new face of the youth and her growth seems to be exponential. After her performance in Netflix's most trending show ‘Strange Things’, netizens look forward to her self-produced upcoming film.

Not just this alone, Brown has also been confirmed working on other projects. She is at present shooting for an adaptation based on the book ‘Enola Holmes Mysteries’, written by Nancy Springer. The film is written by Jack Thorne and directed by Harry Bradbeer. It would be interesting to her cast in the role of Sherlock Holmes's little sister.
