Zombieland: Double Tap released on October 18, 2019 in the USA and across the globe. Reports suggest that the film was supposedly going to feature a cameo by Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds. However, the film released and saw no sign of the actor. According to reports, many fans were expecting Reynolds in the zombie-comic flick.

Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds celebrated his 43rd birthday on October 23. Fans wonder why the actor could not make the cameo as both Zombieland: Double Tap and Deadpool have common screenwriters - Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. Rumours suggest that the actor shot for the cameo, but it never made to the final cut of the film. Some fans suggested that it would have a been a comic crossover of the two films.

The Deadpool actor was also in news for mocking R-rated film Joker's massive success. The film reportedly crossed the net earnings by the R-rated Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds took to Instagram to share a congratulatory post. Joaquin Phoenix starrer Joker has garnered a whopping $258.7 million at the US Box Office over the past 21 days and a worldwide collection of $788.3m.
