The second episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ is a few days away, but it seems ‘GOT’ lovers are yet to get over the season eight premiere. While social media went berserk with memes over various moments of the first episode, even the members of the cast are having fun over it. Sophie Turner, who plays the character of Sansa Stark in the series, has now made a meme of herself over Cersei Lannister’s disappointment over the absence of elephants in the Golden Company. The actress dressed up an elephant to jokingly please Cersei.
Sophie on Wednesday shared on Instagram stories a collage of Cersei in the scene alongside one of hers in an elephant attire and wrote ‘Ur welcome Cercei’ (sic) surprisingly with the wrong spelling while tagging Lena Headley, who plays Cersei’s character.
The picture could be from the Halloween bash last year where Sophie, along with singer-boyfriend Joe Jonas, had worn the costume. Or with the excitement that the show is garnering, it’s not even surprisingly if the actress wore it again just for trolling Cersei.
For the unversed, in the first episode, Euron Greyjoy arrives with Harry Strickland, the head of the Golden Company and informs her that they have 20,000 men, 2,000 horses but no elephants. However, Cersei is not impressed with this news, as it is an important part of her battle plan. The scene of her saying, "I was told the Golden Company had elephants" had gone viral and led to a flurry of memes.
