As per reports, Stacey Dash who is best known for appearing in 1990s comedy Clueless is now facing allegations of a domestic violence charge in the US State of Florida. Pasco County Sheriff's Office report claims that 52-year old Stacey Dash was apprehended on September 29 night.
The incident
Reports suggest that Dash got in a verbal argument with her husband at a New Port Richey apartment. Deputy sheriff said that Stacey Dash pushed her husband and slapped him on his face with investigators saying that man has got red scratch marks on his left arm and no alcohol or drugs were involved. Dash was released on bail Monday morning and Jail records reveal that an attorney wasn't involved in the case who could be contacted for comment on her behalf. Reports suggest Stacey actually called the police because she was physically attacked by her husband and that she was choked by him and that she was defending herself. However, when police came at the seen there were no physical marks on her but the marks were seen on her husband.
Dash's career
Apart from portraying Dionne Davenport in Clueless, Dash has film and television credits beginning in the 1980s. She has previously worked as a Fox News commentator as "cultural analysis and commentary." from 2014 to 2017. She has also appeared in films Moving, Mo' Money, Renaissance Man, and View from the Top. Other television work by Dash includes appearances in series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Single Ladies and the reality TV show Celebrity Circus. She has also appeared in music videos for Carl Thomas's Emotional and Kanye West's All Falls. Stacey Dash had voted for Barack Obama according to reports in 2008 US presidential election, in 2012 however she changed her party affiliation from Democrats to Republicans and had endorsed then-presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
